very happy for you, Tracey !
I'll share a story with you . I didn't get my license till after my father died . Mom had developed lymphoma and had to go for radiation treatments . I took over dads car, a Nissan Sentra . I easily passed the written but failed my first road test . I couldn't parallel park . Jimminey and I practiced and practiced the day of my second test and I just couldn't do it without hitting the curb or knocking over a cone . It was time to go and as I was waiting for the motor vehicles instructor, I talked to my dad . I told him I needed his help in order to help mom . Jimminey & Patrick were in the office . Parking was the 1st test . Jimminey told me later he couldn't watch . I glided that car right in exactly 6 inches from the curb . The instructor said excellent . I knew I had my license as I could do everything else . Jimminey told me afterwards that Patrick said Dad, you got too look because mom just parked the car perfectly . I have not been able to parallel park since . I know it was not my hands alone on that wheel .
My point is that your not just driving grandpas car, he is right there with you, watching over you in a guardian type way .
what a beautiful story tinker
well seeing as i cant make my mind up now going to look at another tomorrow
Thanks, Tracey ! It's a true story . I truly believe and tell everyone my dad was there with me .
I hope you find your perfect car, sweetie .
