    Hi, so you think 55-200 is enough what i need? The lens Tom suggest, is it any different than these two combined.

    me too.... absolutely love it

    It couldnt be bought for love nor money here when it first came out because people got to know how good it was

    range wise no, but much better optically. Less distortion, less colour fringing, sharper .. really in a different class to those two lenses and fully capable of replacing them both

    I just realised I also have 75-300mm but it not VR and I do struggle keep the camera still also tripod is not really good option.....

    yeah 300mm no good unless very good light for a fast shutter speed or tripod. For disney it'd be useless

    Thanks I realised that there is so much I need to learn! So suppose if budget is not an issue what lens would be good? (just for me to see the different etc)

    I too have a Nikon [D70] and I have the 18-70mm lens which came as "standard" with the camera.
    I also [like Tom] have a 55-200mm Nikon lens which is great.

    To be honest, apart from when I needed the extra zoom of the 200mm lens [eg when in the theatre on board], I took all of the shots on our recent cruise using the smaller lens and was very satisfied with the results.
