Saw this on Travelzoo this morning...

Stay in the Walt Disney World Resort complex for just $59 per night. This special reduces rates at the Best Western Lake Buena Vista Resort Hotel by up to 45%.

Available every night now through October, this deal from BookIt.com includes:

Free daily breakfast buffet for two ($20 value)
Free two welcome cocktails ($9 value)
Reduced nightly resort fee of only $4 (regularly $8)
Bonus: For every three-day Disney Magic Your Way with Park Hopper pass purchased, receive as many as four more days at the park free (depending on length of stay). This offer is valid for guests who book three or more nights through BookIt.com.

    Book by Aug. 13.

About the hotel: Centrally located near Orlando's major attractions, the hotel is two blocks from Downtown Disney -- a shopping, dining and entertainment mecca. Epcot is three miles away, and Magic Kingdom and SeaWorld Orlando are five miles away. Free shuttles run every 30 minutes to the Disney parks, and to the Orlando and Lake Buena Vista factory outlet malls. The hotel also features a heated pool and kids' pool, an exercise room, and a restaurant, cafe and poolside lounge.

This is a nice resort. We have stayed here twice before and staying again for one night in October. We didn't get this deal but a Florida Resident rate of $66. We are staying here the night before our reservations at OKW start.

Is it, DisneyFreak? I was wondering how it would be. Herself is having a birthday soon...

Given our current circumstances, there won't be much festivity, but a decent rate on a nice hotel could help...

To be honest we haven't been here since 2002 but it was nice then and it looks like they have made upgrades since. Plus it's a good sign that this resort is still Best Western. All the Downtown Disney plaza resorts have changed over so many times except for the Hilton. If herself's birthday is after October 20th I will let you know how it is.

We were thinking about trying one of Disney's All-Stars or Pop Century for the first time for this one night but we wanted to get this night booked and Disney hasn't extended their resident rates past October 2nd yet.

Thanks! I'll like to hear how it is regardless (her birthday is this month).

Pop Century is nice, but can't blame you for going with the sure thing, price-wise!
