    how cool! Thanks a bundle for thinking of me.. They aren't mother or daughter though believe it or not.. the 'Daugher' is a Sulcata (Geochelone Sulcata) and the larger one is an aldabran tortoise :p015:

    The bigger one will be as big as it looks... it has some growing to do too. The smaller one is deformed, its probably had a bad diet when young, as the newest growth is smoother

    They are so freaking cute! Thats why he loves them! I grew up around Desert tortoises..had one as a pet (before they became endangered...) as a kid. They are amazing to watch!!

    hmm... I pondered the idea of training as a vet surgeon but didn't want to in the end. I want to work in advertising when I'm older, I LOVE biology though.. got two A*'s in it in my Yr10 GCSE.
