    OMG!!!! That lion really wanted that trainer!!!!

    Thank heaven (and particularly for the lion) it wasn't a more severe attack.

    Wild animals, plain and simple.

    Good grief - that is one lucky man!!!! I think that lion was messing about, if he wanted to cause real damage he could easily have done!

    I was awed at the way the other trainer came to the aide of the one being attacked. Talk about bravery. Then the female lion got in on it. That kind of made me think she thought he was "playing" but do full grown lions play with animals other than their young?

    It really does bring it home that these are wild animals and should be treated as such in every instance He certainly had a lucky escape! The lion clearly only wanted to attack that particular trainer.. I wonder what caused it! The other trainer obviously asserted some sort of dominance over the lion too because you could see it almost cowering when his 'prey' was out of the way
