Oh Mairead, how absolutely terrible for her and all of your family. I don't know what to say to you other than send you all of my love, and to keep you all in my thoughts. As others have said, we are family, and we love you, and are here for you
just lots of for you and your family...
Mairead, thinking of you and your family.
There are no words so I'll just send hugs.
Love to you and yours.
Next trip - Bali! (March 2015)
So so sorry to hear this sad news
Just wanted to let you know Sharon's coming home today, and is back to the hospital on Tuesday to start Chemo. As long as it works it'll give her a few more months with us, and make her breathing easier so all your good wishes would be much appreciated.
She's been without oxygen since yesterday morning and has been outside for some fresh air (in a wheelchair) a couple of times, which she really enjoyed after been stuck in there for a week.
We've all scrubbed the house from top to bottom (3 flippin' floors!) and can't wait for her to get back there now.
What sort of foods can she have? Having some favorites waiting, with some nice things to drink (whatever is allowed) will be good too.
I spent quite some time in hospital long ago, and coming home to real food (even the most simple) and nice juices/non-alcoholic drinks was wonderful. Milk shakes those sorts of things...
Would she like some cards, Mairead? I mean cheery, silly, fun ones, not hand wringing angst ridden ones?
If you think it would be ok, we could do a "card shower" and send her all sorts of cards to give her a smile?
