Not sure if you are interested , been playing with my lovely camera and bought a bit of black cloth at the weekend to use as a background. Trying to get the little furball to stay still and look in the right direction is not easy.

Trying to play with lighting as well.

I think cats go through an "awkward" looking stage where they arent kittens anymore but arent quite grown up's either!

Aww bless them, very cute. They look a little orange, you may want to look at your white balance :)

He is quite orangey, they have been 'cooled' off already a little. The light was bounced off a brown carpet as well so that may have made them a little warm

I love the lighting on them, what did you use?

A great little while balance gadget that I purchased (and wasn't too expensive) is a expodisc, its fantastic :)

    I used a EX430ii flashgun off camera

first shots I did I bounced them off a red carpet and they were way too warm - these are pretty close to his natural colour

Trying to learn about lighting and it aint easy, especially when you subject wanders off or licks your lens

You can tell exactly what he thinks of you, in that first shot.
