I think the title says it all. Are the Imax movies worth paying for? I've seen a traditional Imax movie years ago in a museum, but that's it.

I am going to see Harry Potter this weekend and am thinking of the Imax version. However, it's almost double the price!

I would totally go for the IMAX experience. It is great. We have seen several in IMAX to include Beauty and the Beast.

I've seen some movies on IMAX screens. Fantasia 2000 and a couple of action movies. I'm not a HP fan, is there a lot of action in the movies? The more action the better for the IMAX experience to make it worth spending the extra $$. Otherwise I'd stick with regular if you are trying to keep a budget and aren't a Superfan.

Wish I could have the imax experience but sadly they do not provide subtitles access in the cinema itself
