    Mick,

I've got the Nikon AF-S 18-200 VR and I absolutely love it! It's my pretty much carry-all-the-time lens anymore.

It's not cheap but it's certainly worth it!

Tom, do you have any lens creep to 18-200? I've heard it can be an issue.

    FD,

It hasn't been an issue for me at all. Course, I'm not spending a great deal of time pointing my camera down at my feet!

Seriously, in normal use, I haven't seen it at all. I'm sure it "could" happen even if it shouldn't. The lens itself is pretty heavy.

Tom (... close up of your toes anyone?)

Good to know. Looking at reviews, there seems to be those who have lots of trouble and then others who haven't seen any creeping.

And you could be pointing up for a lovely cloud or tree photo. ;)

Slap a rubber band around it and call it good!

Of course, they shouldn't do that at all. Like I said though, I haven't noticed it on mine. Maybe I got lucky and got a good one.

Tom (... amazing! I usually get the bad one!)
