    Thank you so much guys

Well - I LOVED IT!!!! Any worries I had about 'was it the right decision' are well and truly gone. I think I'm going to be very happy at my job from now on

I came home on a high

Because I was looking after Mam, I took a job that offered the few hours a day that I could safely leave her at home alone (DH working shifts meant he was at home but in bed if she needed help) Don't get me wrong, I'd do it all again in a heartbeat! Anyway, I was in the college kitchen/foodcourt.

When Mam passed away a few years back, I went to full time in the kitchen.
I thought that was it for me, I'd be stuck there until I retired!!!!

Well, I went for a job in admin in the same college and actually got the job It's full time - term time plus 10 days. I work in the student office alongside the pastoral managers. Yes, the pupils can be demanding at times and admin work isn't everyone's cup of tea - but it's mine!

I'm a lot happier now at work
