    Man I would love to show you a planet through a scope.it's one if the things I get a massive kick out of. Jupiter is mighty impressive with the red spot and cloud belts and moons, but Saturn just makes people gasp.

    Everytime we see that bright "star" Steven points and tells us it's Jupiter. :D

    I've tried the camera in the eyepiece thing for photographs but the Earth keeps spinning and by the time I've taken a shot my frame has moved out of the viewfinder.

    Put a shot on their flickr today - don't hold out much hope though - by the time I'd typed up all the details it was already on page 3!!

    Ah it'll never get on but its fun to join in, would seriously love to get up to the Hawaiian skies sometime would be wonderful.

    Well much more wonderful than our current low thick cloud cover anyway comletely missed the eclipse this morning - this is such a frustrating passtime
