Hope that cat didn't get any of the birds. Absolutely brilliant photos, as usual Chris. What is that beautiful bird with the red head?

He's a Robin John - slowly gaining his trust and hoping he will eat out of my hand in the next few weeks - sweet little birds. Nope the cat didn't get any :D

Just trying some different things - the blurry water ones didn't really work as it was too sunny ( not that I am complaining!! ) will do more on a cloudy day - need to learn more about lead in lines as well, think the wall is a bit overpowering on that one, but still learning.

SStill need to nail people and only a month until my brothers wedding

    PIGEON!!!!

By the way a Robin does not have a red head. I think John was referring to the Goldfinch.

Ahem - the Robin has some red on his face ;) - teh sparrowhawk wasn't supposed to be a great shot by the way - just happy to get this close with the lens at full zoom. I thought I'd scared all the birds off but hunting around teh skies I saw him doing a tour of the gardens looking for a meal. amazing how often he comes around!!

Lisa saw him the otehr day sat on out shed about 2 ft away!!!! - never around when I am with my lens grrrr
