    It's a Nuthatch Tink. Lovely woodland bird that often comes into nearby gardens for peanuts.

    Yep we have had nuthatches quite a bit in the garden a year or so ago, then briefly for 2 days last year would love them back again.


    They are my best( apart from waxwings which are on their way bak to breed now, along with the lapwings)

    Just beautiful. By waxwing I wonder if you mean Cedar Waxwing? We have an incredibly beautiful bird here, very elusive but we saw a whole flock of them once at Disney!

    Herself is the birder here, I'm just the hanger on who loves the pretties. :D

    Nah our waxwings are very very rare migrants and ther are some shots somewhere in the photography forum I took of ours, they are a little different from the cedar waxwings
