Since we have had the villa Arun has really started to follow the Rays and each year he goes to at least 1 game.

For the last 3 years he has played for a team here at home. He has been the youngest member of the squad but has shown a great aptitude for the game and last season he got 49 stolen bases and won Most Valuable Player. He was 19 a couple of weeks ago and is no longer the baby of the team.

He started pitching last year and this passed Sunday he started the pitching for the first game of the season and he pitched 120 balls ( I have his stats if anyone is interested)

Anyway - here he is:- my biggest boy ( proud mummy moment)

While you have every right to be proud of your son Sandra I have to admit that I am a bit upset at his coach. At his age there is no way that the coach should have let him throw 120 pitches. Most major leaguers are not allowed to throw that many and they are much better conditioned. Ideally he should not throw more than 80-90 at that age with 100 being an absolute maximum.

BTW, when can we expect to see him pitching in the Big Leagues?
