I used to regularly sell Baleigh's Gymboree clothes on Ebay for considerably more than I paid for them....

Based on price reduction, probably a good deal.

Based on child's age, definitely not! :)

Taja you've hit the nail on the head. It's this very thing thats stopping me hitting the checkout button!

I came here to see what everyone else would do.

You have to assume with a 6 year old that at some point they will fall over and rip the jeans thereby negating any ebay potential.

You would assume that. Alysia's clothes all looked brand new when she grew out of them. I always wished she'd tear something just so I could feel like I had gotten my monies worth.

Of course, if I had bought pants that expensive, she would have ruined them the first day

True. But we had "dress" clothes and "play" clothes...I was much more careful with her "dress" clothes, and only had rips or stains a few times...those became play clothes...and the outfit that I bought for $12 on superclearance that eventually sold for $45 made up for the loss.

LOL. Horrible joke 'round the corner....

Once heard a comedian who said:

You couldn't BURN a hole in Tuffskin jeans....in fact, I'm pretty sure that if John F Kennedy had been wearing tuffskin blue jeans on his head that day, he'd still be alive....
