Apricot Lane, a clothing and accessories store aimed at girls in their teens to women in their 50s, is opening its doors in Downtown Disney Friday morning.

"The clothing is celebrity-inspired," Graham said. "If Avril Lavigne was featured in a video, we'll have the shirt she wore in the store a couple of days later." Most clothes will be priced under $100, with denim jeans under $200, Graham said.

The store is next door to AMC 12 Theatres and is the former location of Kitson Kids, which closed on April 30.

Graham said Apricot Lane has been refurbishing the location since May 6. "We have a team that does all our custom tables, brick walls, wood flooring, and lighting," she said. "Even Disney was very surprised how fast we got it ready."

The Downtown Disney store is Apricot Lane's second location in Orange County, their first store is in The Shops at Mission Viejo.

The store is open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 10 a.m. to 11:30 Friday-Saturday during the summer.

An official grand opening is scheduled for June 15.
