Will be off shortly to accompany Mum and Sharon to the Bluebell Railway where they'll board the steam train for afternoon tea whilst Sally and I have a cuppa in the station restaurant!

We bought it for Mum for Mothers Day and she's taking Sharon as her guest...I wonder if Sally and I could sneak on and hide under the table

That looks like a very nice day. I would love to do one of those murder mystery trains or one that goes out west towards the mountains.

We had a great afternoon! I have some pics that I'll pop on here in a while..Mum and Sharon really enjoyed their train journey and afternoon tea (and champers!).

Sally and I had a cream tea at the station which was rather pleasant and we're thinking we may go back to some of their other events, particularly the murder mystery!

The 'Premier First Class Afternoon Tea' tickets were 35 per adult and well worth the money for the experienc they had. Champagne was extra at 7.00 per glass payable on board.

Sally and I had a cream tea from the cafe/restaurant at 4.50 each which included 2 scones, clotted cream and jam, and tea or coffee. I had tea but didn't like the thought of the longlife milk pots so asked for fresh...it wasn't a problem at all, he passed me the container from the fridge so i could make it as i wished!

Oh, and I asked for butter too so we could be extra naughty!

This is the carriage they were in (picture is from the website), the seats are like wing-backed chairs! The table covers were blue over white which coordinated much more than the green in the picture!
