I used to write in a diary religiously but then stopped. I certainly type much quicker than I write

Do you blog? If so, why? Is there any particular blog site you like best?

I must say, while I am certainly familiar with what a blog is, etc, I don't really read anyone's blog so I am a relative newbie at all of this.

I have some things I need to get off my chest and the blog here may not be the best place for it as cursing will probably be liberally applied

Don't do them and rarely read them.

Sometimes it's nice to write down all those things that are swirling around in our heads.

I have read a few in the past from different people, but nothing on going.

However, I have been enjoying Josh's regarding his disney trip. (he needs to update it though) :D

I know what you mean Johnie.

I have never blogged, but some advice I was given a long time ago was to write it all down and keep writing until I felt better. Then when I was ready and felt I was in a nicer place, print it and then burn it.

I must admit the satisfaction of burning it was like drawing a line and knowing it was time to move forward.

Hope someone else can be more helpful on the blog front

I don't. I haven't got enough hours in the day right now for all I want and need to do.

However, if I did. I'd probably go get an account on Wordpress to do it.

I wonder if there is a diary application for computers that could be used to write thoughts on? I know exactly what you mean but I wouldn't want anyone else reading what I want to say though especially as it might hurt someone but there my thoughts I'm waffling on now but I have been wondering about a diary on the computer for a while now

I think daveann has it right, the kind of thing being talked about here is a private blog, a diary but in an electronic format perhaps?

There are writing applications that can get out of your way and just enable you to write your thoughts with no formatting or messy nonsense.

To be honest, I've just used a text editor to jot down my thoughts for years now.

Blogs used to be "the thing" but they're a little out of favour now I think. To be honest, any time I shared my thoughts on a blog, I ended up taking them down later and of course they're still there in google forever :/ so I dont think it's the best place for a "diary"

Lol Doogie! I suppose that's really the way to go

I guess blog is the wrong word. I don't really want it out there for anyone to read. Forever.
