I used to be a Legal PA and I loved my job

I started as a junior receptionist and then moved on to another firm as a secretary and eventually became the PA of one of the partners. I was going to study to become a Solicitor as I used to see Clients anyway. Unfortunately I had a breakdown and was unable to carry on working there, I still miss it even now.

Now I'm a housewife and whilst I enjoy looking after my DH, I do miss work, luckily I have Secrets to keep me sane :D

If I could swap, well I suppose it would be back to PA or solicitor, or in a fantasy world it would be a mum and a housewife but as none of them are likely to happen, I'm happy as I am

I'm in IT, working for the Federal Government

I got into IT way back in 1966 when I graduated high school but got into my current position back in 1993 when they were looking for someone with special skills and I fit the bill.

I really do not like my current job because it isn't the type of work I want to be doing. But hey, it pays the bills.

If I could do "Anything" I would like to be a pilot but that isn't going to happen so I would settle for being a bartender at WDW.

I too am in IT. For a rather larger financial institution.

Similar to USCWEST, I got into it back in 1969 in the Air Force. Been doing it ever since.

Do I like my current job? Not really. I'm doing IT things that I don't really want to do. I do like IT but like development work lots more than what I'm doing right now.

If I could do "anything", I'd love to be a musician. Not a star. Maybe a session musician or a composer doing tv jingles and that type of thing.

I'm a Senior Bookkeeper for one of the nation's largest homebuilders.

I've been in the accounting field since 1993, have worked in the homebuilding industry since 1996 and have worked for my current employer since 1998.

I do enjoy it since I love working with and creating spreadsheets and love numbers.

If I could swap I would be working for STATS, Inc. or another sports affiliated statistical company.

Full time housewife + Grandma duties. :D

Gave up decades of receptionist/admin work because of serious illness. :(

    Abso-bloomin-lutely love it!

I wouldn't swap it as it's what I have always wanted to do. I wouldn't mind a bit more antique-shop work though, if any comes up. :)

I'm a classroom assisting supporting children with special needs.

I fell into it by accident - offered to get the school library up and running when they moved into a new building - next thing I know I'm being offered a job.

    Love it - mostly.

I'd swap for a gardening job at the Magic Kingdom though. :D
