Oh yes. The entry lobby is quite pretty, with a little area for children to watch the Disney Movie that will be playing on a television set. A bit off the lobby is one of the nicer resort shops. All resorts have a shop, but this one seems to have a nicer selection of merchandise than most. Also, it has a nice area for purchasing counter service type foods. Because it is now also a DVC, is why there is a counter service area. It's a bit like a deli...

Welcome to our new home! It's a lovely and friendly place. If you haven't joined yet, do register. It's a great place to make friends and share all those Disney secrets!!

someone help me out, whats it like? I kinda fancy it cos of its location next to epcot but then its expensive so whats in there to make it worth it?
That location is a big part of the cost. Deluxe resorts also offer larger rooms, queen bedding and a wide selection of dining and recreational amenites. The rooms are an average of about 400 sq ft which is almost the same as the Polynesian. But the rooms are more narrow and the furniture is larger which absorbs the length and makes it feel smaller.

The entire are has so much to offer as you can walk over to the Boardwalk. There are water launches that take guests to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios. This is one of our favorite resorts and you will enjoy your stay if you decide on the BC.

Of the Epcot Area resorts we have only stayed at Boardwalk Villas. The location alone is worth staying at the Beach Club. Add on top of that Stormalong Bay (which is considered the best resort pool on property) and you are set.

We love walking to Epcot and DHS. Since we also have a resident pass (you can do this is you have a hopper as well) we usually walk through Epcot and then jump on the monorail to MK. That way we only have to take a bus to AK.

I've done it once Mick and if I ever went at Christmas again and I could afford it, I might be tempted by the Grand Floridian for Christmas eve and day. Other than that if I had to choose between a deluxe or staying at a villa, the villa would win everytime

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
