    "...Mountain Mama, take me home..." Or something like that. I was never much of a John Denver fan.

    WV is a beautiful state though. Have never stayed there, but have driven through a number of times.

    My grandmother used to live on the Kentucky side of the Big Sandy River and she would sometimes move to the WV side to live with her grandfather.

    West by-g-d Virginia is the official name, as I understand it. ;) :D

    It's a gorgeous state. I love the mountains and trees. Just concerned about the steep roads and the winter season. It seems that every road is steep and narrow.

    Yes, you do well to be concerned. The state is quite mountainous and the roads will be slick if the winter is snowy. It's a little south, so you won't get the snow of the Adirondacks, but it will snow.

    You will hone your winter driving skills living there. Then you can move on north to Maine! :D

    It looks lovely FD! Imagine how beautiful that will all look covered in snow at christmas time! Im not good with driving in the snow, and thats just on the flat!
