I can`t add much to what has already been posted Mick, but it goes without saying that we are all rooting for you.
I really, really hope and pray that all works out fine for you.

Sorry to hear Mick. Stay positive, which I believe is a huge factor in any medical situation. We'll stay positive for you as well. We're all thinking of you.

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.
    Winne the Pooh - A A Milne

A friend is a hand that is always holding yours,
no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.

Mick...we are doing a cardiac transfer from Ipswich Hospital to Papworth tomorrow so will have a word with matron to ask if they can use warm water for your bed baths and a bit of grease with the sepositories.

We do quite a few transfers and the staff there are so nice you will be in the best hands possible mate

I don't know what to say except be positive, and know that there are a lot of people who care.

I wish I was closer as I'd be round to give you a big hug. Just keep talking to us and if there is anything at all you need just shout.

im gonna pop round yours one night and let your tyres down malc

i know i will and thx mate.

when i went yesterday the two i talked to were so very helpful, couldnt do enough to put my mind at rest and reassure me, im mostly a positive person im trying to be positive about this, but its so darn hard, just too much to take in, im just worried and got thoughts at the back of my mind now that it would just be my luck i wont have as long....im not even going to say it its too upsetting. since ive had this killer condition there hasnt been a day go past that ive not thought about it. but ive had the best care anyone could possibly have and i thank everyone involved for that, even tho they wont know, well they will and do because ive already told them at the royal free and they really appreciated it

anyway thats enough of me rambling on

thank you everyone for taking the time to reply, your kind words are very much appreciated
