We are staying at OKW on our DVC points in November and while I know the in room internet is free for us when we plug in their cable to our laptop, but I'm thinking of taking the iPad and iPhone with us and would ideally like to connect these wirelesly to the in room dial up for free too.

Can it be done and if so what would I need to do / buy before we leave the UK?

    Thanks
    Lisa

It certainly can :D you just need http://www.apple.com/uk/airportexpress/

now there may be other products that do the same thing but this is pretty much a plug in and go experience and has worked for me for years at Disney.

Literally I set it up once at home and since then I just plug it into the in room internet and voila, wireless.

Ummmm... is this the same for the US? We have the mac Air and will be bringing it with us. We use it wirelessly at the house.

What do I need to do that at OKW? (or anywhere in a Disney Resort)? The same?

    Yep. Same thing Tink.

Just the one from the US Apple store. As long as your resort has wired internet in the room, just get an Airport Express, plug it into the wall, and the internet cable in your room into the Airport Express. Instant in-room wireless! Good for your Air, iPad, iPhone or any other wireless gadgets you may have!

Tom (... we don't need no stinking wires!)
