    Viewed it last night with the new telescope my district purchased. Looked wonderful! As we were watching it one of the moons (Io I think) slipped right behind Jupiter leaving only 3 moon visible at elongation. You could see the bands on jupiter with the 6 inch scope.

    I took took a picture of Jupiter on robot telescope site.

    Wow!!! That is just so cool.

    This house is pretty dark in the back (our old house was super bright) and we have a poor little telescope that has never been used, so maybe we will drag it out and figure out how it works.

    Well it is certainly wonderful to be here! I have been great. Just checked out your photographs. Very good my friend! I may have to use some of them in a future planetarium show. Of course I would give your the photo credit in the show titles.

    ok I have a Bushnell telescope. Now is this something I might be able to see something with, or do I have a kid's toy? I honestly don't have a clue what to do with it. Feel free to give me a

    Can you let me know a bit more about it - what size it is etc - can you posta pic of it

    Showed juipter to my folks last night betrwee the clouds and they were amazed - despite the fact it is loooow at the moment and it was windy the visibilty was excellent and you could see loads of surface detail and the transit of a moon accoss the disc easily as well as the red spot - think I may have got Dad hooked now
