I will make DH and the boys a meaty spaghetti bolognaise with a veggie one for myself, or a shepherds pie (with a veggie one for me!) or beef stew for them but then i'm not sure what i'll have...

Nothing for me for dinner tonight. The joys of solo life!

It's really more self-preservation than anything else. If I eat much after 5:00 p.m., I gain weight. If I eat moderately throughout the day, I lose weight without having to think too much about what I'm eating. I do plan what I'm going to eat for reasonable nutritional balance, but if I really want a treat I will eat it early afternoon rather than later in the day.

So I save my evening meals for special occasions with family and friends! :)

Roast Chicken, with Roasties, cauliflower, broccoli, sugar snap peas and baby corn, stuffing and yorkshire puds. I am just about to make a Rhubarb crumble for pudding.

I love it when DH is home in the week :D
