We've arrived. It's WINDY and bracing and wonderful. We went out to the dock, but not down to the beach yet. It was too dark.

Had dinner in our villa. Are now having some popcorn and watching Wall E... nope. We've not ever seen it!

We are still deciding about tomorrow morning. Character breakfast (the only morning they have it) or farmer's market (the only morning it's on)! LOL.

We'll probably head for the farmer's market as we can do a character breakfast any time.

The villa is a standard one bedroom. Set up like OKW but much smaller. We didn't get a good view this time. No matter, we aren't planning on staying in the villa and gazing out the windows for any length of time.

If anyone has any questions, let me know.

Otherwise, see you as time permits (oh yes, the WiFI works).

Sear it at 500 degrees (you get to do your own conversions) for about 30 minutes...then drop the temp to 350 and cook until done (depends upon weight).

Use aromatics in the body cavity. Don't stuff it with dressing... too much trouble with campylobacter and salmonella these days. :( Make a nice dressing though and cook it alongside... we use chestnuts in with the turkey (along the outside edges where they will baste in the turkey juices).

    Then, have at it.

    Any other questions?

The market was quite small and nothing much beyond what we already have at Winter Garden. We bought a few vegetables here and there.

We bring our own food to Vero Beach. There are plenty of places to dine, Disney even provides a nice listing of local restaurants, but we prefer our own food.

The beach has changed. There is almost no place to walk... hard to explain. Thought it was high tide, but seems to be beach erosion. Won't be getting the endless walks in that we were hoping...

That's ok though, the boy is sick.

At this point, should have stayed home.

Oh Tink, sorry to hear that :( Poor little thing. I do hope he starts to feel better real soon. As you say, you'd feel better at home right now. Pixie dust for the little guy
