    and let me just say that trying to keep a tree in decent condition with a preschooler, a toddler and three dogs its become a challenge

    I like this thread! We had to get a new one this year because our old one burned out! We usually have a real and artificial but again this year with the chemo we went just with an artificial. Hubbie brought it home and it's huge 9.5 feet tall!Everyone has such lovely trees. Does anyone here put up a village too?
