Disney Cruise Line is headed back to Alaska this year for a second season, giving even more guests the opportunity to experience its grandeur and natural beauty. Here are the top five things to do in the Alaskan port of Skagway.
I would so like to take this cruise.
Course, I'd have to go buy some cold weather clothes before I did.
Only problem I see is trying to fit it all in. You're only in Skagway for about 12 hours. Makes for a busy day.
Tom (... more flannel!)
Did the Alaskan cruise aboard a Carnival ship a few years ago. As I recall the trip was excellent. I can only imagine it done Disney style!
DW Sally along with her sister and her friend all went. We too stopped in Skagway and we took a train into the mountains, it stopped to let us off and we were led into the woods with a guide for a trek along beautiful trails. It was a nice town.
Do you know that might be an option, he has always wanted to go to Alaska to take photos of the scenery. Hhhmmmm, I wonder - the only thing is I like to go where the sun is, so I probably wouldn't want to go if it was a choice between the cruise or going back to FloridaOriginally Posted by Slowhand, post: 270510
You can slap me if you like
Do both! The Alaska cruise and then down to Florida for some sun!Originally Posted by Wendy, post: 270513
