Beautiful advice from our Skywatcher. I have problems with understanding what is controllable and what is not!

Hope today is a perfect Zen, MystikPiglit!!!

    Thank you, Tink.
On day 3 of new meds, which are supposed to take a week or two to work. Just have to keep ticking over until then. The hugs certainly help.
DH off next week for diy and decorating so that should keep me busy.

Yep. I do find (if I can muster up the motivation; another problem ) that if I stay busy, my mind doesn't have quite the same opportunities to prod me into anxious thoughts. It's the getting busy and staying busy that is the trick. I'm ok at work because I never stop, but then there is the 1 1/2 hr ride home, and all night...

I am hoping that getting some other things under control will help, as approaches like that have helped a bit. I would like one day though where there wasn't an "inner nervousness." I think some of mine is learned behavior (trauma learning is the most affective...) so I try to unlearn it!

It's good your DH is going to be home and you can both do projects together. That's a really nice way to spend time together!

I'll wish that for both you and I, Tink.

Oh sweetie, just starting to follow this thread, do look after yourself :hugs:

i am also very unhappy at work

If the noise start again, do get in touch with environmental health or something like that and they can supply you with recording machine which will register the sound pitch and see if they are breaking the law etc.

Only if you feel strong enough to do it.

    Thinking of you xx

    How are you feeling Diane

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......

I think I'm feeling a bit better, thanks. My nerves are not feeling like over-coiled springs any more, which is good.
There has been a gale blowing here since yesterday and I keep jumping at every clatter I hear so I'm not quite there yet.
Of course, having to keep going to the GP when I suffer from medical phobia isn't exactly helping.....
