    Thank you, Esmeralda.

I came to realise, last night, that I think 8 months of stress has caused this. We moved, Milo was ill and my cat is ill. Added to the house problem I think I've just reached my limit. :(
It surprising how these things pile up without us even realising and the along comes the straw that broke the camel's back

I hope changing the room helps you a bit

Thanks, Wendy. I'm going to make myself visit my GP, if I can ever get an appointment.

I think it's the best thing to do Getting an appointment is a nightmare I know, we always have to fight to get one, unless you want it in 4 weeks time

I was dreading seeing mine as she is fairly new, but she is the best one I have had since my original doctor retired 4 years ago. I'm just hoping she doesn't leave like the others

Tell them exactly what you've told us and how it's affecting you. Ginger really works and also peppermint will help settle your tummy too. If nothing else there are a couple of good medications out there to control nausea and your doctor can always presecribe one for you

Yep, just describe how you are feeling now as compared to how you were feeling before (when you felt better). Tell her/him in physiological terms how the anxiety affects you (the sick stomach feeling, ect. does your heart palpitate, do you perspire, do your muscles tense up, do you get a headache? those sorts of things).

If the doc prescribes something be sure to ask about its actions on the body and any side effects you should be aware of.

As Tink said, tell your GP exactly the same as you've told us

Well, that was odd. Been to doc. Lovely chap.
Asked me, "what would you like to try?"
    I was rather bemused.
Will let you know how I get on with the meds I ended up with.
