Well, that was odd. Been to doc. Lovely chap.
Asked me, "what would you like to try?"
    I was rather bemused.
Will let you know how I get on with the meds I ended up with.
I'm so glad he was nice and you felt at ease Give them a few days and see what happens, if you are too sleepy you may need to alter the time you take them

    Diane...

I honestly dont have any ideas, I think others have suggested really good things to try out...

Umm... what about the bose headphones that block noise out?? they work REALLY well.... you could wear them just like that and have the noise reduced 95% or put on some calming classical music...

    Thanks, Mari.
I have started breathing exercises, so hopefully they will help. I certainly don't want to take meds for long.

Two things that might be of help...(or may have already been mentioned).

Since the auto accident, I've been having massive bouts of panic/anxiety attacks. So much so that I went back to my MD as well. I'm currently taking a very low dose of Lorazepam which seems to be working wonders.

As for the nausea, like Tink has said, ginger seems to help. GNC (a health supplement store) sells ginger pills...they have worked WONDERS for me when I experience nausea.

Here's hoping things sort themselves out, hon

Is it working Diane? I use ginger root to make tea. I can't eat the candied ginger it burns my mouth! But even the candied ginger can be used to make tea. Sleepy Time tea has a calming effect and they also carry Sleepy Time Extra. ( Celeastial Seasons brand)

    Thanks for tip. :)
Works briefly on actual wobbly spells but feeling more depressed than before. Maybe just a coincidence. Have made another appointment to discuss it with GP.

Depression and anxiety go hand in hand. BFF's they are. Good luck with the GP
