You would have to come to an agreement over hours worked etc. Would she be happy to be with you all the time and 'on duty' as it were? Would she expect hours/days off?

Yes that is something we would have to discuss. I think i would probably offer her an amount that we can both agree on for whilst she is there. She would get time off and i would not expect her to work nights unless Beth was sick all holiday and i needed some sleep. I would then agree to pay her more.
She is the type of girl to just fit in with the family. I will make sure she has her own room and onsuite.

You always come across as someone who strives to be very fair and reasonable so to be honest I think it's a GREAT opportunity for her! A definite yes vote from me!

Thanks all. I am going to put it to her next week. Beth would love it as she is young and cool in her mind. I am to old and boring
She has been away to concerts with us and has always been a lot of help and fun. She has a mum who has MS and i think this gives her total understanding of what its like for us.
She is the first carer that i have had total faith in. I would happily leave Beth in her care for a week and not worry.
