    Yeah well as Skywatcher and nutty say, the 350d and the updated versions, 400d and now the 450d are such great bargains that there's a certain part of me that wants to say just get one of those rather than stress about it too much :D

    As slowhand says, they can be used in full auto until you're ready to play

    I know I am coming in late here but....I had a Cannon DSLR Rebel...WONDERFUL camera..and Im a big camera dummy...it was VERY easy to use..this was the very first picture I took with it

    your right it is just as easy to use on auto as any other camera, the other settiings make a DSLR camera something else i love playing with the settings to see what different shots i can get....and i cant wait to go to wdw to have a go with it there :)
