I mean... I know it isnt hard to get excited at all, hahaha... but what do you do? Do you have any rituals?

Right now we are marking days of the calendar, I downloaded an iphone app called "days to go" and get a daily reminder of how many days we have to go, and although they dont know when they are going, we have been watching all the videos that are here on the forum, so they have seen parades and shows and Tatiana CANNOT wait to see the CASTLE!!

    So.. what do YOU do??

I'm probably not a good one to answer this one- we live a little over an hour away from Magic Kingdom, so we just pick a day, make sure we get up early and drive over. But last year we stayed on Disney property for the first time ever, and for weeks beforehand, we watched our Disney Vacation Planning dvd. The kids got so excited just watching that! lol

I tend to go over my packing list or the items in my luggage depending on how early it is with regards to the day until I'm leaving. I also look back over menus. Of course, I come to the boards with any last minute questions/suggestions/concerns. I like to pop in something like Haunted Mansion with Eddie Murphy.

Oh im terrible - think its only me that gets excited in the run up!! I love looking at photos and watching anything thats got to do with where we are going! Its not the photos of us there that gets me excited, its the ones with just the place in, like maybe a side street somewhere, a photo looking down international drive - ones that are just "there" if that makes sense?!

    I pack.

    About 2 weeks in advance.

Then spend the next 2 weeks suffering while my DW makes fun of my suitcases spread around the house.

How many cases do you take to leave them all over the house?!

I do have a ritual. I buy a calendar, count back 6 months from the holiday and then, from there, I put a Disney sticker on each day. Simple but quite exciting.

I read the guide books cover to cover, go through the list again to make sure all is sorted, start to discuss our previous trip and get all excited!
