Baleigh and I were discussing our August trip a bit ago (girls only w/ Johnie, myself, Baleigh and her friend Kaela) and I told her that this year we were going to be having Tea at the Grand Floridian. She was SOOOOO excited (Seriously. 14 year old girls really don't get excited about ANYTHING that doesn't involve vampires or The Hunger Games.)

Anyway, she said, "REALLLY?!?!? COOL!?!! Can we dress up in fancy British dresses as well!?!?!?!" Well just what the 'eck are fancy British dresses, then!!!?

Oh blimey, she doesn't mean Victorian surely

A fancy afternoon tea dress to me very smart, when we went to Claridges, a long time ago, Chris had a suit on and I dressed as if I was going to a wedding.

Maybe you could wear dresses with white hats or fascinaters

Maybe she means pretty feminine tea dresses. Perhaps with cotton gloves, a nice bag and a summer hat? Could she have seen it on tv shows, such as 'Downton Abbey'?
If you put 'British tea dresses' into the search on Google images that will give you an idea. :)

Cute bathing suit. Those sandals would be murder on the beach though.

you know what? I can totally see dressing up in old english formal style dresses being utterly right at the grand floridian for tea!

As Wendy and Mystik said, nice dress, accessories, hat I think it would work perfectly certainly add a sense of occasion and I dont think it would look at all out of place at the GF
