...the other day. Wednesday, I was sick. Couldn't breath through my nose, had next to no voice, and I thought my sinuses were full on concrete. I was hoping to leave early, but low and behold, my last patient finally shows up, 15 minutes late. He's a 12 y/o boy and his Mom. Just to preface this, I always try to find something to relate to with my patients. With boys, it's very difficult. Until this kid mentioned that he was worried, not about getting back to playing soccer at school, but that his (recently healed) fracture was going to cause him pain with all the walking he was going to be doing...in Disney...in September!
Well this just started a firestorm of questions back and forth; "When in September?", "Where are you staying?", "What's your favorite park?" etc... Long story short (kinda) he and his family were at Disney last September, staying at Pop, and they booked the bounce-back for this september. They left the day before we arrived last year (we stayed at Boardwalk). This year, our trips are going to overlap by 2 days, with them arriving and leaving before us. Here's the kicker; they're also staying at POR! Now we live in a relatively rural area. I found running into a local family that's going the same time and staying in the same resort, to be pretty funny. It's a small world...

oh how cool is that! I bet you won't bump into each other in the hotel. But you'll bump into each other in a MASSIVE theme park.

Always the way, we never see one of my uncles (we don't talk to him much, long story) and we only live 5 minutes away, we never ever see each other, yet, we went to spain, and bumped into him TWICE.

    It is a small World!

Last year we were in the MK and the little girl that Caitlin sits next to at school came running over to us! We didn't even know they were going as they were staying with family in Miami and just popped up to Orlando for one day and chose the MK. To even be in the same place in the same park on the same day is amazing enough! We got a lovely pic of them together. :D
