We used to hear this kind of stuff on the radio in the old days:

Hey kids! Where were you in 1952 when the Diamonds had this gigantic hit t t t t t t?
Now here's some real nostalgia for all you oldies but goodies out there.

    Do you remember the Ventures?
Do you remember Walk, Don't Run?

Well, when they formed the band, their first drummer on what turned out to be their firs hit, Walk Don't Run, was a 17 year old kid. Here he is, 38 years later.

Seems he found a "different" career path.

I know. A lot of you are way too young to remember this stuff. But some of us aren't! :D

    Tom (... ain't that a kick...)

Wow, thanks for posting this Tom. Probably not too many 4 Stars in the HOF.

I think you're right Terry. At least over in the UK.

The sad bit is that you, John and I are actually old enough remember this stuff.

The good bit is that we do!

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.

A friend is a hand that is always holding yours,
no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.
