Building upon its commitment to diversity and inclusion, Walt Disney World Resort recently invited a small group of influential leaders from Central Florida’s minority business community to attend a brief update on the Resort. Topics covered included the Disney Fantasy, Disney’s Art of Animation and the Fantasyland expansion.

During the gathering, Meg Crofton, president of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Operations U.S. and France, recognized the importance of diversity in fueling creativity and innovation.

“The Diverse Business Leaders luncheon last week showed why the Walt Disney World Resort is a leader, not just in Diversity and Inclusion, but in all areas of business operations. Bringing together Diversity Business Leaders was truly a unique concept. It should lead to maximizing synergies among the Diverse Business Organizations,” said Malik Ali, CEO/president of Central & North Florida Minority Supplier Development Council.

Other organizations in attendance included the African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida, the National Association of Women Business Owners and the Central & North Florida Minority Supplier Development Council.

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.

A friend is a hand that is always holding yours,
no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.
