    If his owners couldnt care a less about him, do you think they would let you have him if you asked them?

    If he is used to roaming he will probably burrow somewhere to avoid getting eaten by any urban foxes.

    You could always bring him to our house where he/she could make friends with the hundreds of rabbits who take great pleasure in eating my plants in the garden!

    We ended up with a cat years ago because he used to be locked in his shed all hours because he was only really needed when grandchildren were present! I am not a cat person and highly allergic but still between us and neighbours we used to feed and shelter him. When his owners moved she came to me and said as Henry spent more time with us than them they were just going to leave him!
