Looks like Amazon is debuting new Kindles, Kindle Fires and the regular type of Kindles, but with a white print face.

I love my regular Kindle. Just downloaded 4 new books today.

I have the Kindle Fire. I love it. When I use it. I am still hopelessly addicted to real books :-(

The traditional kindles only allow you to read books, the Kindle fires allow for much more (ie internet, movies, etc).

How would a fire compare to something like an iPad?

I much prefer the ipad or even the google nexus 7 to be honest in terms of a tablet device

The best release I Think was the paperwhite kindle with built in light! FINALLY! it's needed a good light for so long

(not in the UK of course)

I think the Kindle Fire is more cost effective. No doubt the iPad is better in all respects

It's definitely cheaper than the ipad.. BUT I'm not sure it's much cheaper than the google nexus? (I must admit, I dont know the current pricing though)

Tbh, I haven't even heard of the Google Nexus. But I'm not up to date on lots of techy things
