i've stayed in both the Portofino and Royal Pacific. It's really hard to say which one i prefer. The Portofino was more refined and not as relaxed as the RPR so i guess i would choose RPR and have club level there instead of a normal room at the Portofino. They are both lovely resorts though

I've stayed at both and I prefer Royal Pacific. We did club level this past Jan. not sure it was really worth the extra money

A lot of people say that Johnie and I think if it was just two of us we wouldn't bother but 4 adults and it worked out te same as buying breakfast. although we did have our money's worth in wine LOL . We paid $150/ 100 per night with a special deal. The more you stay less you pay

I have stayed at both RPR and HRH. I really didnt like Hard Rock at all. It was far too noisy and I did not like the breakfast dining options either. It didnt help that the room was filthy when we arrived and the linen carts seemed to litter the hallways morning, noon and night. Having said that lots of people prefer HRH to RPH so what do I know?

Self parking is around $15 plus tax per night. I had my own valet so didn't need to pay extra
    Lol
