yes very different and a naturist naturalist would have to be very careful

Would love to get a badger pic published one day ... That's the aim.

Fantastic pictures, thank you for sharing.

At our old farm when I was a still living at home with my parents, we had a family of badgers living in our Orchard. Often I could hear them snaffling about outside my bedroom late at night. Sometimes, when I used to have to be up before sunrise to see to the horses before going on an early shift for work, they would be wandering around as bold as brass without any fear or even interest in me. Many of time I had to be careful I didn't fall over one whilst getting hay, etc. Obviously this isn't the norm for these shy animals, but ours seemed to be very comfortable with us. As my dad used to say "they had more front than Scarborough".

yes indeed - I guess they have just gotten used to you over a long period of time like ours did - as long as they realise you aren't a threat.

Ours realised if they tolerated the flashgun they got more peanuts ;)

Such sweet, peaceful looking little creatures. I'd not think they were like raccoons. Raccoons are quite vicious when approached and the last thing you'd want to do would be lure them to your porch.

It's sad to hear what is being done to these pretty little animals. :( Thank you for working so hard to get photos of them, and to share them with us!

It would be fabulous for you to be able to get one published!
