It's been a long, long week. Work was extremely stressful, so I'm looking forward to some relaxation this weekend and spending some time with the dearest friends ever.

Herself has been battling a miserable pain under her shoulder blade. It seems to have responded to her "home fix" but now the muscles are quite sore. As we age, as we age.

The weather was no where near as nice this week as the forecast wanted us to believe!

How was your week? What are you looking forward to this weekend?

Tink I definitely have to agree with you about the weather. The forecast certainly did not mention all the heat an humidity when I looked at it. Unfortunately, we head back north on Saturday, just as the temps and humidity start dropping here.

It's our last full day and night :(.

Off to MK today with the hope of being there at the right time for Ariel meet and greet and new ride and then out for dinner tonight.

Tomorrow will possibly go to Epcot and then back to the house before we leave for the airport.

Sunday we'll be back in the cold miserable UK :( and the holiday will feel like a distant memory :(

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.

It has been a long week indeed. I'm headed home today from Texas. So ready to be back, I miss Jon and the kids. The weekend will be full of fun business. We're sitting for the niece and nephew Saturday and Saturday night, that should be a sweet distraction. Sunday were having a pumpkin carving party at Jon's sister's house! And then a week from now - we'll be on the plane to Disney!

I haven't been hit by any children this week.

I did have to carry a howling child along a corridor yesterday though. When I say howling think wolf.

And I have been called a stupid sandwich head and the same child said she'd put my butt in the laminator.

That was so special wasn't it????

I am glad that the surgery is done, happy to have pretty good sight and so so glad to not have that horrible pain that I had. Things are looking up. The weather here in Virginia is very nice. Sort of coolish, sunny...perfect fall weather. Going to a cookout birthday party this afternoon. Tomorrow night we are going to a show...The Rat Pack. It is a tribute to Sinatra, Sammy, Deano, and friends. They were some really cool dudes. I can say that now, but I would have never admitted it to my Mom while growing up. Not sure what Sunday will bring. OH one good thing about the surgery I was told NOT to do ANY yardwork for at least two weeks....doctor's orders...

Had a pretty stressful week, on Tuesday a colleague had a car crash whilst out and about, she rang into the office very distraught then hung up and it took a while to get through to her again. Car is a write off but no injuries thank goodness. A close friend's 7 year old son was taken to hospital last night, he's home now but they are none the wiser, I was petrified that it was meningitis but thankfully not. Really hoping for a drama free weekend!

I shall be mostly ebaying stuff and I think we shall go and pick some blackberries for a crumble on Sunday. First roast of the winter mmmm

Well, I don't know about drama free weekend. Just got off the phone (multiple calls) with one of my buildings. A resident (memory care) was missing. He's been found, but still not good that he had left the property and gone across the street. He was "going home because he was retired now and it was time to go home." Achingly sad, but so scary. At least it happened and was resolved before midnight, unlike the last time when it carried into the wee hours.

The boy and his Da are going to MK tomorrow. We aren't sure yet what we are doing, but it will be something fun, I hope!

Today's weather was beautiful and a touch cool tonight!

Dawn? Laminate your butt?! Really? Charming child!
