I've got 8 Christmas cakes and 3 log cakes to make this year as well as 2 Christmas puddings and some mincemeat.

What things do you bake or make for Christmas?

I don't really bake, but I'll take any leftovers you have!

My mother and I use to make sugar cookies together. She would roll them out, cut them and bake them, while I frosted. Obviously I had the best job.

Me too! I would love either a Kenwood or a Kitchen Aid, if only to make Italian buttercream and Genoese sponges easily!

Have fruits soaking for Christmas cake, always make a Yule log and cookies.

My Christmas cake is in the oven right now. :)
I also make dozens of sausage rolls at Christmas.

Donna will probably do some bourbon and/or rum balls. I don't believe they get baked though.

Well,l I'm a lucky one as I have a DH who loves to cook and despite using every utensil in the kitchen his cooking is wonderful.

Last weekend, with the help of the kids, he made two Christmas puds and started the Christmas cake.

I like to cook but unfortunately everything I do is no where as good as his, so now I don't. He's very happy doing all the cooking and I'm very happy letting him, (oh yes and I'm happy doing the washing up).

The only problem is his cooking is so good I often need seconds, which is not great when I'm telling my ladies in my diet and fitness classes to watch their portions.

None of us really like the traditional christmassy stuff like christmas cake or mincepies, but we make christmas cupcakes and shortbread and give them as extra little presents - im assuming people like them, nobody has said otherwise!
We usually make sausage rolls aswell but last year we forgot!
