    Happy Halloween

Does anyone have any plans for tonight, any parties, going trick or treating with your children or just being a party pooper like me

Not going anywhere. Might stop by the store on the way home and pick up some candy if there is any left. It is tough on a work night when you get up at 3:00AM

We probably aren't going to do anything this year. My DW and I both have had colds and while I'm feeling better, she's still under the weather.

So we'll probably give it a pass this year.

Just going to a local pub which is doing a halloween quiz. We'll have a bite to eat there in an attempt to miss all the kids calling at the door wanting sweets

    Keith!!

I must admit I haven't bothered this year, I bought lots of things back from holiday last year, put them in some really nice Holloween bags and not one person came to the door.

I'm sat on the dark as Chris isn't home till late and they will think there's no one home

We'll be doing our usual turning all the lights out and pretending no one is home.

Helped this year by the fact that our doorbell is broken and the front door lock is jammed.

Another one here.....DH at work until 11pm so I am in the back bedroom clearing out cupboards, ignoring the doorbell. All other house lights are off.

I feel so guilty saying the above!!!!

Wow, aren't we a bunch of old grumps here We are really lucky in that we don't live where anyone could just walk up to - they would need to be driven!! So no trick or treaters hopefully. I have made a pumpkin lantern and it is lit, and we are sitting in front of the fire. And that's it!! :D
