yeah for sure Josh, HAS to be that because they're just sooooo great. Can definitely believe that it pulls people into the hotels and usually to get anywhere in the hotel you have to walk through the casino

If she has any recommendations for GREAT buffets and special restaurants i'd love to hear :)

I can find out the name of the company we used, they were very professional based at McLaren Airport, nothing like some of the ones along the strip.

hmmm drive through divorce hmmmm :D I mean erm vow renewal!!!!

I'd really like any recommendations for super great restaurants though.
It was 8 years ago that we went, so the restaurants we used are probably gone nothing seems to last long in Vegas. I'll find my scrap book and see what I've got in there. The Mandalay rings a bell for some reason

that's what we were told as well by someone we were talking to at the Monte Carlo.

    I`m sooo jealous Keith.
My DW and I went to Vegas years ago before the "new" hotels , were built and we keep on saying that we must make a return visit someday.

I also am not a gambler per see but when we were there I put aside $20 per day and when that was gone, end of story.
I did however put a rare 50c coin into one of the machines when we returned to our hotel one day and lo and behold I won enough to fund tickets to see Diana Ross at Ceasar`s Palace, so who knows, maybe lady luck could be on your side.

If you are concerned about the "dodgy" helicopters that Tom mentioned then you could always do as we did and visit the Grand Canyon in a small aeroplane which was amazing, although obviously it couldn`t drop down to the bottom of the gorge!
This trip was part of a package offered by the hotel which also included a coach to and from the Grand Canyon and also took in a bit of sightseeing as well, visiting an American Indian reservation etc.etc. which was well worth the cost.

we did the small aeroplane....Jon wasn't keen on the helicopters. Funny story about our trip (not funny at the time) - remember that when we went was about 2 years after 9/11. A fellow passenger, an Orthodox Jew clutching the Torah and praying as we took off. I nearly had a cow...especially as i'd told a little white lie about my weight!!!

I did the plane ride many years ago. Back then the planes were allowed to fly below the rim. However, due to a series of crashes they no longer allow the planes to do this.
