At present I'm reading Llewellyn's 2013 Magical Almanac, so I don't think that would interest you. I mostly read non-fiction these days.
Try this series, they're extremely good:

Thank you, I'll have a look

It's nice to know what other people read and suggest, I think sometimes it's better than just reading the back of a book and giving it a go. I don't like library books, so I tend to buy all mine and I hate it when it's rubbish, I feel cheated

You are quite right. The writing sucks, it's repetitious, uses phrases that are not common in the US, oh, and did I say the writing sucks?

I am, however, discussing it with a coworker who wants someone to talk to about it. I thought I'd never finish the first book. But once I finish the trilogy (it may take a year or two), I will swiftly remove it from my kindle!

My dear Wendy. Of course I know what reading is. Lol. The point I was trying to get across is that I don't read much.

I absolutely love reading and most recently I have been reading one to two a week. Makes me very happy. However, I read a lot of smut. (Just being honest ). Usually though my books fall into two areas and I will say this a politically correct as I can: either there has to be death or love in the books.

I read the first 50 Shades and couldn't stand it. I'm not a prude by any means, but the guy has some mental health issues in my opinion. It's not like that's his 'style' because he just likes it, but it's his style because he can't any other way due to those issues. Just my two cents.

I've been told by several friends that 50 Shades will just make me angry. If I'm going to read "smut" I'd rather read something good.

Lol but I'm with you Ducky, except my smut tends to be of the tv variety. I run the gamut with books.

Yeah, I don't get the big deal. I have trouble trying to figure out why the book is being raved about. I've read far better "smut" - even with the bondage, S&M thing. I'm sure glad I didn't have to pay for it.

Lol well it is called "housewife porn". I think it's for those who haven't read real erotica.
