I was given Citadel by Kate Mosse for Christmas and I've just started to read it. I have read some of her other books and really enjoyed them, but this one is taking a while to "get into" so I might end up giving up

I need to buy some new books, so what are you reading or have you read and would recommend.

I'm reading Columbine by Dave Cullen.

I read Two Graves by Preston and Child right before this.

What types of books do you like?

I vary like mad with what I read Johnie, I like things from thrillers, vampire type stories and then at the other end of the scale I love chick lit

I do enjoy a good mystery book, something that keeps you guessing or has a twist at the end. I've even read historical books, but I like that type of book to have a happy ending

I'm looking forward to Dan Brown's new book that comes out in May, it's carrying on with the Robert Langdon story, I just hope its better than the Lost Symbol, I didn't enjoy that one very much.

vampire wise, I'm finishing off the "dark secrets" set of books and then I'm going onto "beautiful creatures"

possibly stopping along the way to read One Day by David Nicholls which comes highly recommended but I seem to have missed somehow

Have you read the morganville vampires series Wendy? I think they're rather good

I've just been looking at Beautiful Creatures on Amazon and trying to decide whether to buy or not

I had One Day and I just couldn't get into it, I know it had really good reviews, but it just wasn't for me.

I nearly read the Morganville Vampires There was an offer on with the Book People, but by the time I'd made up my mind to order then they'd sold out

I'm in the minority here I think, I read about 2 chapters of 50 Shades of Grey and gave up. I thought the writing was terrible, it was like a child had written it and it didn't seem to have much of a story to me
