    ooh so pretty!!

I am honestly debating on staying there in the little mermaid suite next year, the theming is amazing!

I am a 19 year old student getting ready to marry the love of my life. I will be a army wife and couldn't be more proud.

We currently are planning on doing a honeymoon to Yellowstone Natl. Park after the wedding, and then come home and set up housekeep.
October or Late September, we will be packing our SUV up and driving to Orlando to visit Mickey with Family and Friends for our 2nd Honeymoon!

It will be his first time, and my second time visiting, but it will be more like my first as I was VERY young when we went!

Wow!!! That's some kinda' fancy suite! I'm so pleased for you that you were given this setting! Thank you so much for sharing the photos with us. I've been really wanting to see what the place looked like but haven't had a chance to stop in and nosey around.

    LOVE the colors!!!

Did they give you any idea why they were upgrading you? What incredibly good luck for you! (Wonder if we'll have that kind of luck when we go!)

I was thinking of sending them an email before we travel telling them that we are celebrating my birthday, DDs birthday as well as the 5th anniversary of our disney wedding hoping that they might upgrade us. I was also going to let them know that I am a Disney specialist with Thomson in the UK and would love to have a look at one of the suites so I can give the feed back to the team I work with and on our company intranet.
Does anyone have any tips on things that help you get a free upgrade? I think I am far too British about it all and even felt really awkward asking for a room change on our wedding trip.

I think you're right about being too British. I have never asked for an upgrade but have seen a few people (none British) who have asked and have managed to get an upgrade.

I think that just celebrating a birthday isn't enough sometimes and I do think it's worth in this case mentioning that you are a Disney specialist.

Im sure I read somewhere that they allocate the rooms 30 days out so it maybe worth asking a little bit before you travel.

I think also doing it via the telephone sometimes helps as you can express your wishes in a less direct way.

Let us know how you get on :)

We didn't ask for the upgrade. We did check in really early, around 8am though, but offered the suite and couldn't say no :)

Oh wow!!! After seeing the photos, it would be REALLY hard to turn it down...

I may just have to that it doesn't even come up :)

How did you find the food court, Lisa? Did you eat there often (or at all)?
