Too young to leave, John. I'm so sorry for her family and all of you. It's a very hard way to go. May she rest in peace now, free of pain.

The funeral was Saturday. I don't think I have ever seen so many people attend. There must have been 250-300 people in the chapel at the funeral home. Her sister, our DDIL, gave one of 3 eulogies. I don't think I could possibly have done that for my sister.

what a very strong lady, I couldn't havve done that, I wanted to for my Dad, but I just wasn't strong enough

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.

no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.

I know exactly how you feel Wendy.
When my Mum passed away I wrote a eulogy for her but in the end the vicar [who both Mum and I knew very well] read it out verbatum and it went down very well.
I doubt whether I could have got through reading it out myself.
